The purpose of this Call for Consultants is to build a diverse roster of individuals who could be rapidly mobilised for a variety of activities as agreed between the European Commission (including Country Delegations) and the FAS Core Team. .
GAIN is the technical partner of a consortium that is leading the European Commission’s (EC) Fortification Advisory Services (FAS), which is intended to deliver advisory services on food fortification – including mass staple food fortification, targeted fortification of complementary or specialized nutritious foods, home fortification with micronutrient powders, and biofortification. The purpose of the FAS is to strengthen the institutional and technical capacities of the EC and EC Country Delegations as well as beneficiary countries related to food fortification.
