JOB SUMMARY:
The Team Leader, Global Talent Acquisition is responsible for ensuring CRS identifies, engages and secures top talent in a creative, efficient and timely manner. The Team Leader will maintain a modest portfolio of strategic openings while providing leadership and support to a team of seven. The Team Leader will enhance strategic partnerships with hiring managers, promote creative sourcing, help set and achieve team goals and lead by example.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and Support Staff
- Provide support, guidance and feedback to help staff realize their full potential
- Create an empowering environment that recognizes and values staff contributions and efforts
- Set ambitious but realistic goals for time to fill metrics
- Build a strong team that meets and exceeds agency needs and expectations
Develop Strategic Partnerships
- Work with hiring managers to understand their talent acquisition needs and priorities; act as a strategic business partner in support of their business needs
- Work with hiring managers to refine and validate the requisite profile of a compelling candidate; review and revise the hiring plan as needed
- Deliver high quality service to the hiring managers and to prospective candidates
Model Creative Sourcing Strategies
- Understand and leverage the networks of the hiring managers as well as CRS and its alumni
- Understand and leverage social media and online search platforms
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies for engaging passive candidates
Lead and Set Direction
- Seek out opportunities to communicate the CRS value proposition, including CRS programs, partnerships, impact, values as well as CRS commitment to staff engagement
- Work with the Resource Mobilization teams to support the pursuit of high value funding opportunities
- Monitor industry trends to inform strategic priorities and approaches
Manage and Steward Resources
- Review and analyze metrics on activities, including applicant flow, sourcing, time-to-fill, and turnover
- Promote, uphold and model CRS commitment to the efficient use of agency and donor resources
TYPICAL BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field, Master's degree a plus.
- Seven years plus of progressively responsible talent acquisition or staffing experience including three or more years managing staff
- Proven track record of sourcing and securing high caliber staff for the international development sector

Required/Desired Foreign Language: English required, French, Spanish or Arabic a plus
Travel Required: infrequent travel to job fairs and recruiting events (up to 10%)
Teleworking Options: based in Baltimore but with options for working remotely one to two days a week

- Internal: HR staff, All CRS staff (including hiring managers, regional teams, country programs, Regional Directors and Executive Leadership Team)
