Airport Manager - Algiers

Job PurposeTo manage the airport operation on a day-to-day basis ensuring that service delivery conforms to regulatory, operational, safety and customer service standards within a cost effective environment. To liaise with airport authorities, government agencies and third party service providers ensuring that Etihad Airways ground handling requirements and customer service standards are met at all times. To manage and lead the guest services team to achieve agreed business plan objectives.
Responsibilities

    • Manage the performance at the outstation, owning and managing relationships with relevant internal and external parties.
    • Ensure that all airport activities are delivered safely and securely in compliance with Etihad corporate, local and CAR OPS regulatory standards.
    • Prepare and manage the annual station budget exercising cost-control measures, ensuring that opportunities to optimize airport revenues and reduce costs are identified and delivered.
    • Ensure the Performance Management of all team members is carried out in accordance with the Etihad Airways values.
    • Ensure that all ground services business is delivered in accordance with the Etihad values.
    • Other ad hoc duties as detailed by the business as and when required.
RequirementsQualification & Experience:
 
Degree level education is preferred or relevant industry experience, with a demonstrable sound knowledge of airport operations and customer service preferably gained in 5-7 years working experience with an airline or ground handling agency ideally with 2-3 years management experience.
 
Training & Knowledge:
Strong written and verbal English language
Computer literate
Function specific licenses for tasks performed, where required e.g. load control
