Enterprise St Helena wish to engage the services of a professional individual, to provide specialist Commercial Advisory services to Enterprise St. Helena based in the St Helena Government offices in London.
The role is to predominantly focus on facilitating the promotion of St Helena Island as an investment destination, maintaining contact with existing and potential investors, processing of expressions of interest from prospective investors, assisting in the organising, communication and facilitation of investment related events, undertaking commercial research activities on behalf of Enterprise St Helena and/or the St Helena Government, and building relationships with public service networks or financial institutions aimed at supporting business development.
This is a rewarding hands-on role which will require an analytical approach and strong communication skills, in order to provide practical, constructive advice and planning assistance, whilst working remotely.
The Commercial Advisor must be a self-starter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working within a similar role, directly related to attracting investment and remotely supporting Economic Development activities, preferably within the context of a small island state or overseas territory.
This role is being offered on a part-time “contract for services” basis, initially for 1 year, with hours and associated remuneration package to be agreed with the successful candidate.
