Background:
The project aims to improve the conditions for a more stable and inclusive finance system. At the macro level, the conditions are being created in order for measures at the meso and micro levels to be more effective at increasing access to financial services. To this end, the project supports activities in three different fields (action areas). These areas include - financial inclusion, finance sector stability, and Credit Information Office Act.
About the Job:
GIZ is seeking an Advisor - Finance System Development. S/he will be responsible for focusing on providing technical support in the projects three action areas.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Advise the project and its players on planning and implementing measures, e.g. in the field of basic financial education and consumer protection;
- Support in the other action areas will be determined by actual needs and your existing knowledge;
- Assist the project managers in the administration and management of the project (reporting, monitoring, etc.).
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Studies or a related subject and several years of professional experience in the finance sector;
- Extensive knowledge of financial system development;
- In-depth knowledge of financial inclusion and responsible finance, and familiar with regulation and supervision;
- Experience of working abroad is essential, and gained this experience in Francophone Africa;
- Initial experience at the organization;
- Knowledge of procedures and instruments are desirable.
