UNIFIELD IT Mobile Implementation Officer (MIO)

CONTEXT

Unifield is an Information System project aiming to replace the existing field management tools with a new solution that will integrate finance and supply, and be shared by all coordination’s and projects throughout the movement.
The mission of the Unifield IT MIO is to support the technical implementation of the sofware in the field, preparing the networks and the internet connections prior to the deployment, assisting in the installation process, transfering knowledge and supporting the IT responsible in the missions, and reporting technical issues.
Under the direct supervision of :
  • The Unifield deployment manager for all deployment aspects of the project
  • The Unifield IT technical referent for all technical aspects of the project

JOB PROFILE

The MIO Unifield IT will be required to perform the following main activities:
  • Make sure the IT prerequisites are present prior to the deployment (internet connectivity, network setup,…)
  • Configuration of the instances environment and software installation
  • Training of the IT responsible in the field for all implementation & maintenance aspects, covering LAN and WLAN setup, internet connectivity, synchronization setup and monitoring, troubleshooting and user support
  • Training and coaching of the functional users in the missions for db backup and synchronization management
  • In charge of consolidation and management of all login and password of the instances
  • In charge of all IT assets management of the project (forecast, order, inventory, allocation,….)
  • In charge of Sandbox management (HQ, Field, e-learning…)
  • Provide technical installation reports and documentation for each mission, with extensive feedback & recommendations to the Unifield IT Referent.
  • Consolidation and up-date of all IT documentation related to the project (guidelines, memos…)
  • Ensure good coordination with the Supply and Finance team with an integrated approach for deployment
  • Enforce & monitor all communication flow in the field regarding non-functional issue escalation for 1st and 2nd level
  • In case of planning constraints, he can be assigned to others tasks and will give his IT expertise and experience tothe IT Unit.

CANDIDAT PROFILE

  • Qualified in ICT
  • MSF IT experience is an asset
  • Experience in training (hands on coaching and giving trainings to various levels of staff)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Good knowledge of Telecommunication material (install, config, management) like Vsat, Wifi, etc
  • Attention to details, strong analysis and synthesis
  • Good communication skills, flexibility
  • Good level of English and French, both written and spoken;
  • Experience in multicultural environments is an asset
  • Mobile: position based in Brussels but mainly carried out (up to 70% of the time) in the field.
