PURPOSE
Under the guidance of WASH Specialist(Sector Strategic Support), the incumbent assists on the monitoring and Information Management Systems by providing professional expertise and assistance in WASH effective monitoring and reporting of the programme achievements, database, GIS and website management and bottleneck analysis/reporting, information sharing and capacity building related to the WASH Programme..
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regularly monitor, analyze and report WASH programme achievements and performance at national and state level and ensure gender segregated data collection, organization and analysis.
Ensure efficient and effective updating, upgrading and output reporting from WASH database, GIS and website at national and state level and build WASH sector partners’ capacity in using, updating and utilizing WASH database, GIS and website.
Collect, correlate, overlay and analyze Education, Health, Nutrition and other WASH related information with WASH information to ensure active and timely intersectoral, integrated and packaged interventions.
Support equity based programme monitoring and situation analysis including bottleneck analysis/reporting using the most up-to-date developed WASH bottleneck analysis tools.
Prepare and support publishing of WASH programme information sharing and advocacy materials such as publications, brochures, fact sheets, profiles, human interesting and success stories.
Support implementation of WASH main cross cutting studies, advocacy events, surveys, reviews and capacity building programmes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Advanced university degree in hydrogeology, public health or related technical field.
Diploma or formal training in M&E, database management or Geographic Information System.
At least two years of professional experience at national and/or international level at the field dealing with WASH monitoring and Information Management System.
Fluency in English and Arabic are required.
