Partnerships Manager - Airline

Job Purpose
Oversee the program accounts for Airline Partnerships and all portfolios of partnerships therein to ensure consistent delivery of revenue through the sale of miles to Airline partners. Manage and standardize the sourcing, negotiation and implementation of airline partnerships, aimed at delivering incremental revenue through the sale of mile. Establish Airline Partner ManagementBest-Practice knowledge sharing across all GLC Loyalty programs. Ownership and development of Co-Host Airline relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and delivery of airline partnerships within the identified portfolios to ensure delivery against set targets and business plan.
  • Identify, implement and manage partnerships in order to be accountable for the relevant market and in this market, the brand recognition is strong and front-of-mind.
  • Grow the accounts to ensure revenue growth from these partners.
  • Manage the development and implementation of marketing collateral (POS, Member Guide, co-branded posters, program forms, partner website pages etc.) to increase brand awareness and enrolment.
  • Ensure the successful launch, implementation and management of products in key markets and a successful global launch in line with the business case to ensure revenue growth.
  • Manage the equity partner relationship and ensure they are launched in a timely manner in order to contribute to the overall revenue target.
  • Manage Airline part of Co-Host relationships in conjunction with Program Development Manager who drives Coalition per market
  • Support the development of a consistent overall Airline partner Strategy for the programs across Equity partner airlines and other airlines
Requirements
Qualification & Education:
  • Business Masters, University degree or equivalent Diploma qualification is required, or optionally a recognised professional Airline industry Management degree
Experience:
  • 6-8 years’ work experience in relevant area
  • Experience in liaising with internal/external clients, Partnership Management
  • Marketing Communications experience
  • Experience in strategy planning and execution
  • Proven track record in successful partnership management
  • Client Service focused person with strong personality to handle Airline partners
Training & Knowledge:
  • Strong Application knowledge and understanding of business requirements
  • Planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
