Job Purpose
Based in Bangalore, you are required to provide sales and administration support to Account Manager and Regional Sales Managers ensuring Sales team maximize productive time with customer.  Help establish presence of the airline as a major quality brand in the market.
Responsibilities
  • Handle all aspects of Sales Administration pertaining to agency contracts, agency performances, point-of-sale performances, return on investments, budgeting & revenue generation.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on both Excel and Power point on various sales performance parameters and activity trackers to ensure active communication and effective coordination in support of sales strategies.
  • Follow up with Sales Managers & Account Managers on various initiatives and ensure timely execution of sales plans. Coordinate to ensure various activity trackers are implemented, updated & completed in time with various deadlines.
  • Liaison with our travel industry and corporate customers: Be main contact for queries not generally handled by the reservations centre, ensuring regular follow up with sales team and head office.
  • Work with the Finance department to ensure debt control. Compilation of weekly and monthly sales reports and competitor information. Knowledge of all current net fare deals.
  • Promotions and events – Assist with the development and organization of promotional events with the sales and marketing teams. Attend promotional events as necessary
  • Account development – work with the sales team in the production of individual account plans
  • Administration – Ensure efficient administration and filing of sales report and production of contracts for partnership agreements and commercial deals
  • Telesales account management of a small number of prospect accounts
  • Making specific bookings/reservations for industry related trip
Requirements
Educated to minimum A’level or equivalent standard. Maths & English grade C GCSE or equivalent – Essential. The Post-holder should have had previous exposure to working within a multi-cultural and commercial environment.
Training & Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office – Essential
  • Experienced in using GDS systems knowledge and MIDT/BOSS systems 
  • Knowledge in salesforce.com is an advantage
  • Sales and Customer Service training an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure with min supervisory
  • Familiar with air travel operations, airline commercial activities, travel agency business, contract performances etc.
  • Prior exposure to sales strategy, commercial planning and basic understanding of product pricing would be ideal
