Hydro Informatics Specialist
Agriconsulting is looking for an Hydro Informatics Specialist for the World Bank funded consultancy “Technical assistance in environmental and natural resources management” in the framework of the Lake Victoria environment management Project phase two (LVEMPII).
Qualifications and skills
· Master’s degree in information system, information and decision support systems including remote sensing and GIS,
· Fluency in written and spoken English
Professional experience
· 8 years of experience water sector data, information, knowledge and decision support bases and systems development and management, including remote sensing and geographic information system applications, development of innovative interactive knowledge products,
· substantive experience in developed and developing countries
· Proven experience as Hydro Informatics Specialist
The assignment should start in January 2016 and the period of implementation will be of 18 months.
The estimated input for this position is of 8 Man Months.
