Data Manager , University of Oxford

We are looking for someone to be the Infectious Diseases Data Observatory (IDDO) Data Manger. You will be based in Oxford and work closely with the Data Systems Manager and also the Worldwide Antimalarial Resistance Network (WWARN) teams based in Asia, East Africa and West Africa.
You will work to manage, transform and curate clinical, epidemiological, molecular and pharmacology data and will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and complete submission of study datasets and associated documentation involving direct communication with data contributors from around the globe.
You will have an undergraduate qualification, or equivalent, in a scientific or health related discipline and some experience of data management. A high level of attention to detail and good organisational skills are also required. Experience of working with large databases and experience of data management in a health related field is desirable.
This post is a full-time position and is available until 31 December 2016 in the first instance.
