Development of Two Financeable Energy-Related Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAS)

The United Nations Development Programme Requests Proposals for development of Two Financeable Energy-Related Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAS) including their Measuring, Reporting, And Verification (MRV) System in Ghana. Eligible firms may collect the RFP and related documents upon request for the document through: Richard.Opoku@undp.org orPaolo.D.Stella@undp.org and copying Rene.da.Silva@undp.org from Thursday 11th September, 2014 to 6th October, 2014 at 12:00 hours GMT.
The RFP is only open to firms that are registered companies notable for consultancy services for Energy and Climate Change for a period of 2 years or more. The RFP is open to all eligible Consultancy Firms who wish to respond to the Request for Proposals Document. Consultancy Firms may associate with each other, either in a joint venture, or in a sub-Contract agreement, to complement their respective areas of expertise in order to enhance their capacity to successfully carry out the assignment but is not mandatory.
  • Proposals will be evaluated under the QCBS method procedure for which is described in sections of the RFP in accordance with internationally accepted practices. In particular, they will be evaluated on their responsiveness to implementing the requisite Energy-Related Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAS) including their Measuring, Reporting, And Verification (MRV) System in Ghana.
  • The UNDP reserves the right to accept or reject, in part or whole, any or all of the proposals at any time without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  • The costs of preparing the proposals and of negotiating the contract are not reimbursable by the UNDP.
  • Proposals must be valid for 120 days from the deadline for submission. The UNDP will make its best effort to select a firm within this period.
  • The UNDP does not bind itself in any way to select the firm offering the lowest prices.
  • You are requested to submit a Proposal for Energy-Related Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAS) including their Measuring, Reporting, And Verification (MRV) System in Ghana.
  • Your offer comprising of Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal, in separate sealed envelopes, should reach the above email addresses no later than 2:00hrs GMT, 10th October, 2014.
