A WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT
Country:LIBERIA – Monrovia
Length of Contract:6 months starting as soon as possible
Responsibilities:
Coordination
- Represent ACF in the wash consortium in order to coordinate current program implementation and further programming
- Represent ACF out of the consortium in coordination meeting
- Supporting Country Directors with Donor representation
Proposal Elaboration
- Write a proposal elaboration for EBOLA response and others proposal at a second stage
Team management and program implementation
- Manage the team for program implementation
- Work closely with other department especially the Nutrition and Health department and the Logistic department for the Non Food Items / kit distribution.
Work with partners
- Work in close partnership with the traditional partner for the wash sector (GWEI)
- Coordinate, operate and support with the GWEI
- Implement Capacity Building for GWEI (at coordination level, planning and operational level, technical level, monitoring level) for the activities
Qualification and previous experience: Master’s Degree in Public Health, you have a significant experience in WASH project implementation at a senior capacity.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communications, multi-tasking and networking skills.
Strong training, presentation and persuasions skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in English.
Capacity to work in complicated security environment.
Status: Employee
- Total average yearly gross income : from 44910€ to 51410€
- Fixed-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French legislation.
- All expenses paid on the field:
o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average
o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average,
o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average
o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 343€
o Per Diem : 215€
- Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experience
- Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution
- 25 days of annual paid leaves
- 20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission)
- Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris
