Artificial Lift Systems Design Engineer - International Vendor
Interviews to take place next week! Salary range $2000-$5000 USD net per month.
I have a new opportunity based in Tripoli for a Artificial Lift Systems Design Engineer focusing on ESPs. Working for an international vendor, you will be the client focal point for an operator's desert operations.
Duties
- Production optimization for flowing, ESP and beam–pumped wells.
- Prepare and optimize rod string design for pumping wells. Evaluate causes for failures of rods.
- Review completion designs and installation procedures with associated automation and make recommendations for further improvements.
- Automation and instrumentation expertise in pump controllers. Be able to trouble shoot and perform repairs.
- Monitor daily production through automation and make specific recommendations to improve performance; e.g. changes in speed, and control parameters to maximize recovery while minimizing equipment wear.
- Coordinate service company support for artificial lift and workover operations.
- Monitor warehouse inventory to ensure adequate supply including backup supplies of tubular’s, tools, and other items related to pumping equipment.
- Track historical well performance to ensure that lessons learned are captured and implemented.
- Contribute to the optimisation of the asset’s performance together with production and petroleum engineering teams.
- Recommend corrosion and scale treatment programs.
- Liaison and communication with the subsurface and well operations teams.
- Recommend/implement training of field personnel in automation and well testing.
- Develop appropriate standards for rod designs.
The ideal candidate will already have experience of desert operations.
