Advisor (m/f) on National Investment Planning and Financing

The context  To achieve the status of a middle-income country, Rwanda needs to increase private investments and the efficiency of public spending. The new national procedures for Investment Planning and Financing address the link between public and private investments and promote a more private sector-driven growth with high impact on employment. The GIZ advisory program is located at the Ministry of Economics and Finance of Rwanda.  
Your role  
  • Support prioritization of the medium-term national investment program in line with Rwanda’s Vision 2020 and the national development strategy;  
  • Provide technical advice on financing strategies to be pursued for large investment projects;  
  • Assist partners in their inter-institutional work, especially the National Investment Committee.  
Your profile   You have a Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering. You have worked on large-scale investment projects in the private sector, be it in project appraisal, finance or management. Practical experience in development cooperation are an asset.
