IMC Worldwide is inviting applications from suitably qualified Programme Director/Team Leaders for a DFID funded opportunity to administer the Ethiopian Investment Advisory Facility.
We are looking for an experienced Programme Director/Team Leader with the following skills and experience:
· University degree, preferably to Masters level in Economics, Financial Management or a related field.
· 10 - 15 years of professional experience gained in a developing country context.
· Extensive experience in public and private investment promotion, including in state owned enterprise reform, capital markets investment, investor relations, transaction support and/or capital project feasibility assessments.
· Proven leadership and team management experience of personnel, finances and operations for large fund management programmes.
· Expertise in investment policy, public private partnerships, regulation, private sector development, enterprise promotion and industrial economic policy.
· Experience of working with relevant government ministries is an advantage, for example Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Privatization & Public Enterprises Supervising Agency, National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) and the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
· Excellent communication skills including good presentation, facilitation and report writing skills – samples of written work may be requested.
· Extensive experience of managing and implementing DFID funded projects, particularly providing consulting services to public and private sector clients, including providing technical assistance, institutional and capacity building support.
· Experience of undertaking and managing due diligence.
· Excellent written and spoken English.
Anticipated start date: third quarter of 2015.
Duration: Up to 5 years.
