CTG Global provides services to humanitarian organizations, government, non-governmental organizations and corporates that enables public and private sectors to focus on their core business and the achievement of their objectives in hostile and threatening environments as we provide a safe and secure environment for them to do so and alleviate them of their risks, crisis and personnel management problems.
BACKGROUND ON THE PROJECT
For this requirement CTG Global is required to provide Foreign Medical Teams (FMT) in support of our clients efforts to control EVD via Sierra Leone Community Care Centres. Staff will be required to provide clinical management functions within Community Care Centres across Sierra Leone.
EVD transmission remains intense in Sierra Leone, there is therefore a continued need for support and response to Ebola outbreaks. Community Care Centres will be embedded in communities and fulfil a central role, enabling patients to present and be tested before transferring to Treatment Units following a positive result. The level of care offered inside the Community Care Centres, while basic, will encourage families to bring loved ones forward for isolation.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Education
· Masters or equivalent degree in International Relations or Community Development; additional years of relevant work experience in combination with a relevant bachelor’s degree may substitute for the requirement for a master’s degree;
· Minimum five (5) years of community development experience;
· Solid experience in developing countries;
· Sound strategic planning and Project Cycle Management experience;
· Good experience in design of Monitoring and Evaluation mechanisms for reflecting impact in a holistic, development, community focused way;
· Previous experience in developing countries with similar conditions to those in Countries of Service under consideration will be an advantage
Work Experience
· Experience in carrying out local, social and anthropological assessments regarding community perceptions of the disease (Ebola).
· Significant background in preparation of statistics and report writing.
· Strong communication skills at all levels.
· Willingness to work in field conditions in areas where the risk level could be high to extreme therefore it is necessary that the SCO has reasonable experience in such conditions.
· Proven ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to develop and maintain excellent contacts and working relationships with senior government officials, private sector organizations, donors, and other humanitarian Agencies.
· Willingness to travel throughout the Country of Service.
Languages:Fluency in English is required.
