OVERVIEW OF CTG GLOBAL

CTG Global provides services to humanitarian organizations, government, non-governmental organizations and corporates that enables public and private sectors to focus on their core business and the achievement of their objectives in hostile and threatening environments as we provide a safe and secure environment for them to do so and alleviate them of their risks, crisis and personnel management problems.
BACKGROUND ON THE PROJECT
For this requirement CTG Global is required to provide Foreign Medical Teams (FMT) in support of our clients efforts to control EVD via Sierra Leone Community Care Centres. Staff will be required to provide clinical management functions within Community Care Centres across Sierra Leone.
EVD transmission remains intense in Sierra Leone, there is therefore a continued need for support and response to Ebola outbreaks. Community Care Centres will be embedded in communities and fulfil a central role, enabling patients to present and be tested before transferring to Treatment Units following a positive result. The level of care offered inside the Community Care Centres, while basic, will encourage families to bring loved ones forward for isolation.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Lead the overall coordination and management of medical and logistics support activities at the assigned CCC.
• Supervise the day to day implementation of the overall operations of the assigned CCC including staff, management of resources, operations and logistics in coordination with the Medical Coordinator, Logistics and Procurement Officer.
• Coordinate on a regular basis with the CTG Mobile Teams (e.g. Chief Medical Officer – Quality Control/Quality Assurance), Infections Disease Specialist, WASH Specialist for the strict application of infection prevention control protocols and staff health safety.
• Supervise the management of the CCC data and information system, for both medical as well as non-medical services mindful of data protection and confidentiality issues.
• Supervise the management of the CCC medical and non-medical supplies, ensuring continuity of supplies, proper storage and continued refrigeration for certain medications and supplies, expiry dates, forecasting of needs, rational utilization of supplies and consumption records on a weekly basis in close coordination with the Procurement and Logistics Officer.
• Coordinate cross-sector collaboration internally within the appointed CCC, CTG mobile teams as well as with external partners.
• Monitor and analyze overall CCC services’ process to increase effectiveness, identify needs and recommend solutions.
• Provide periodic management updates and documentation/ dissemination of best practice materials; contribute to regular reporting.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will be able to work results-driven and without direct supervision.
Experience
• Experience in health planning and management at a senior level
• Project management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 12 years’ experience
• Solid professional international field experience at senior level with emergency response experience in fragile states
o Health and disease outbreak background highly desired
o Previous first phase emergency response experience highly desired
• Professional experience in Africa, especially within projected performance locations is preferred
