Experts – Business Enabling Environment Programme Ghana

Objective of the Programme:
DAI is preparing for an anticipated DFID Programme focusing on business enabling environment reforms in Ghana. The project will deliver technical assistance and advisory support in a range of areas, including but not limited to simplification of business registration procedures, commercial law, tax administration, sub-national/local government commercial procedures reforms, contract enforcement, and public-private dialogue. The overall objective of the programme is to reduce the cost and time of doing business in Ghana.
We are seeking Team Leader as well as Specialist level candidates with technical expertise in the following areas:
· Business environment and procedures reform
· Tax burden reform/procedure simplification
· Judicial reform/commercial law reform
· Public-private dialogue
Overall requirements:
· 7 or more years of successful working experience in one (or more) of the technical areas above
· Ghanaian experience strongly preferred. International experience will also be considered
· Experience working with DFID, USAID and/or other large international donors
· A strong understanding of Ghana’s business enabling environment
· Excellent English communication skills required
Education:
Advanced Degree in Public Policy, Economics, Accounting, Management, Finance or Business or other related field preferred
Project Location: Accra, Ghana
