Amnesty International as a whole is going through a period of organisational change. It’s an immensely important agenda that will impact every area of the organisation. So as a proven professional, we’ll look to you to lead on strategic Global Mobility support. While as a member of the ODHR team, you’ll contribute to the wider directorate planning, development, and delivery.
About the role
With experience of operating as a Global Mobility Advisor in an international and multi cultural environment and you will have proven ability of implementing effective global mobility strategies and policies which support talent management and produce cost effective results.
You will also be familiar with working in a change environment and understanding the challenges and opportunities it creates. This is a highly operational role but requires strategic thinking on all initiatives and for the incumbent to see and create the big picture for the relevant audiences, and also to deliver on the detail.
You will be able to provide employees, their managers and HR team members with expert advice in relation to global mobility and deliver the HR support for the organisations remote working employee population as the single point of contact. You will have a personal demeanour that generates trust and confidence amongst management and staff. You will lead by example and possess a high level of integrity with resilience and drive to address potential challenges you may face.
About you
An experienced Advisor, ideally coming from another INGO, you’ll not only have extensive knowledge of evaluation and impact assessment, you’ll be passionate about it too. You will have strong technical and analytical skills and experience, including understanding the complexity of assessing the impact of advocacy and campaigning efforts. This will be complemented by your creativity and ability to motivate and bring people with you, using your sound political judgement and emotional intelligence. Naturally, you’ll be a clear and convincing communicator – able to manage colleagues, present influential arguments and negotiate across levels. But just as importantly, you’ll be eager to make the most of your industry knowledge and experience as you develop our capacity at this exciting time.
