Project Manager, Mozambique

GAIN fights malnutrition in Mozambique through innovative and sustainable models that increase access to affordable nutritious foods among communities vulnerable to malnutrition.
The GAIN Marketplace for Nutritious Foods (‘Marketplace’) is a knowledge, networking and financing platform for local enterprises to improve the market availability of nutritious foods. It facilitates partnerships and knowledge sharing across the agriculture value chain and catalyzes innovations to improve the diets of ordinary Mozambicans.
GAIN is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to implement and oversee the Marketplace for Nutritious Foods project in Mozambique. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing a network with the private sector, understanding their commercial needs and will help to identify business solutions. Further, the Project Manager will be responsible for effectively managing the performance of sub-contractors and technical consultants.
The ideal candidate will have solid project management experience and a strong understanding of agribusiness in Mozambique. Applicants must have the right to work in Mozambique.
This is a 1 year contract with a possibility of extension, subject to funding.
