PLAN International’s Ebola response is budgeted at $60 million dollars. We are responding to Ebola in all three worst affected countries in the areas of health, WaSH, Child Protection, Education and Livelihoods.
We are looking for an experienced Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to lead Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) work for the response and recovery phases of Ebola Response in West Africa. You will support all monitoring operations in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia through coordination with the local M&E focal staff in each country and the regional office. In addition you will roll-out tools elaborated by the Region and will ensure timely data collection, elaboration and reporting in each country.
- A strong leader, with the ability to make effective decisions quickly, you will be an experienced emergency monitoring and evaluation professional with a demonstrable track record leading and managing M&E during emergency responses and recovery. You will have extensive knowledge of the sector, applicable standards and donors in emergency.
- You will have knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation methodologies and system with special attention to emergency and post-emergency settings; as well as knowledge of existing M&E protocols used by UN agencies and donors;
- Excellent communication skills: Fluent in both English and French
