Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, you will be instrumental in:
  • developing and aligning the Global Engagement strategy, including regional and country plans, that support the achievement of the University’s overarching vision and goals
  • developing and managing strategic partnerships, alliances and relationships with University leadership stakeholders, Australian and foreign government and non-government organisations, and industry and professional groups
  • coordinating key international events, conferences, and forums that provide strategic marketing channels off-shore for the University
  • providing oversight, governance and reporting as well as strategic financial management and oversight for the Global Engagement portfolio.
The Vice-Principal (Global Engagement) requires an acute understanding of international issues and opportunities available to the higher education sector, sound judgement, globally-focused strategic thinking and a capacity to adapt flexibly to changing circumstances and environments.
