Voluntary Assistants Roster
The World Food Programme (WFP), the world's frontline food assistance agency, is seeking to replenish its roster of Voluntary Assistants.
WFP Voluntary Assistants are individuals who donate their services to WFP. They have no relationship to the United Nations Volunteers Programme (UNV), nor to the WFP Intern Programme. There is no compensation for the services of Voluntary Assistants. WFP invites local residents, residing in Rome, who are interested in volunteering, to apply.
Specific Requirements
All applicants must be over age 18. All applicants must be residing in Rome or within commuting distance.
Who Can Apply?
All applicants are subject to interviews and assessment testing, confirming their skills.
How to apply: Step 1: Create your online CV. At this time you will also be creating a username and password. Step 2: Apply to this roster, using you username and password. NOTE: You must complete Step 2 in order for your application to be considered.
You will receive email notification that your application has been received. Due to the large number of applications received, you will not receive further correspondence from this office. If a manager is interested in offering you an assignment, s/he will contact you directly. Applications remain active for 3 months from time of application. If, after 3 months, you are still interested, please re-apply.
