You'll contribute to ending world hunger by ...
providing the full range expertise in institutional strengthening and capacity building of partners in implementation of Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) as well as Infant Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) Programs
Key activities in your role will include:
- Together with the Nutrition Cluster and Implementing partners (including MoH) identify critical capacity building needs
- Design and Implement an appropriate Capacity development plan to enhance the quality of CMAM and IYCN programs
- Actively participate in advocacy, research and debates that foster a productive reflection on the problematic concerns of nutrition capacity building at all levels
- Collaborate and coordinate with all partners in elaboration of the operation plans. Regularly update the forum on progress of the project, lessons learnt and support needed
- Work with the Deputy Nutrition Coordinator and Sr. Nutrition Coordinator for ACF in training and capacity building of ACF staff

You’re a seasoned Nutrition professional
- You have earned a Post-graduate Degree in Nutrition/Public Health/Epidemiology/Statistics or a Graduate degree in Medical sciences & Nursin
- You have at least two-years of experience in management of malnutrition (CMAM) and or working with partners. Its a strong advantage if you have experience in IYCF programs
You’re a super communicator
- You have led teams where you need to coach others to adapt their communication style to suit colleagues from other cultures & professions. You are able to adjust your own style to represent ACF appropriately with a range of national counterparts.
- You intuitively adapt how you communicate context analysis, strategy, policies & procedures to suit different audiences - both verbally & in writing.
- You have experience in capacity building and working from the ground up. You are adept at Adult Learning techniques and have proven experience in design and delivering a wide range of training programs
- You are able to consolidate & polish contributions from a large team to ensure reports are comprehensive & coherent. You identify & support how junior staff can improve their reporting skills.
