RAPID EDUCATION BASELINE SURVEY IN ALL REGIONS OF CENTRAL SOUTH SOMALIA

by Unknown  |  at  9:48 AM

UNICEF Somalia country Office invites proposals from qualified institutions/organizations to conduct a wide rapid baseline survey to map access to education in all regions of Central South Somalia.
The key objective of this rapid education baseline survey is to map all education facilities and activities that are ongoing in Central South Somalia, and to establish a picture of access to education in these regions. The purpose of the survey is to identify access, capacities and gaps in the whole education sector in the target regions in order to inform better response by the cluster, MoE and development sector. Following the INEE Standards for Education in Emergencies: Preparedness, Response, Recovery, this assessment will focus on 1) Access and learning environment, 2) Teaching and learning, 3) Teachers and other education personnel, and 4) Education policy.
The survey will function as a preparation for the EMIS that is rolled out by the MoE, and is intended to give a valuable overview for the planning and roll out of the EMIS. It is also intended to inform a more coordinated response between the MoE, development sector and the cluster.
Detailed ToR and RFP instructions are as per attached RFP document No. LRPS-EMU-2015-9117967
