SWIFT PROGRAMME MANAGER

Salary: £26,364 - £35,656 net per annum pro rata, (net salary means that Oxfam GB will meet the tax and social security liabilities of post-holder in addition to net salary)
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 6 months
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Location: Goma, DRC
Are you a program managing specialist? Could you qualitatively and quantitatively scale up the SWIFT programme implementation? Are you able to ensure plans are updated, implemented and quality is ensured? We are looking for a person able to ensure partners are supported and reporting done according to donors requirements.
You will be fundamental to the work of Oxfam, being responsible for line managing and mentoring one Programme Manager counterpart, a Public Health Engineer Adviser and a MEAL Officer. This could be in a variety of responses including first phase emergency response to support the scale up of country programmes to meet the needs of evolving slow onset crises. You will be responsible for consolidating the SWIFT monthly and quarterly reports from all partners and Oxfam staff. Also, you are expected to support the PM to effectively plan activities and budgeting with partners and relevant teams each month following the agreed action plan.
You will have a substantial programme management and mentoring skills. You will develop a track record in policy/advocacy, influencing government, donors or other organisations through advocacy at national and or international levels. You will have proven experience and understanding of partnership management and working with government entities as well as civil society groups. You will have good interpersonal behaviour, communication skills. You will have experience in enforcing MEAL frameworks, and the ability to manage workload and stress.
