by Unknown  |  at  2:01 AM

The National Infrastructure Commission is a newly created body, established to deliver a long-term plan and assessment of national infrastructure needs in the UK. The Commission, chaired by Lord Adonis, is looking to appoint an outstanding Chief Economist to lead its analysis of the major infrastructure challenges in the UK.
As Chief Economist you will lead a team of analysts and be a key adviser to the Chair and Commissioners, and a primary contributor to all publications from the Commission.
In the short term this will involve advising on reports on northern transport, public transport in London and energy infrastructure. Highly articulate, credible, with an exceptional track record of delivering cutting edge economic analysis, you will be an outstanding economist who can navigate the complex and high profile infrastructure sector to shape the government’s priorities.
