HEALTH ECONOMIST AT THE LEVEL OF PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
SCHOOL OF ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS SCIENCES
The School invites applications for the above position.
Applicants are expected to have a Doctorate in Economics or a related field (eg public health, public policy) and a substantial record of academic publications. Candidates with strong quantitative research skills with experience in epidemiology or biostatistics will also be strongly considered. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new projects, demonstrated leadership potential, resourcefulness and intellectual creativity are the requirements for this position.
Experience with fundraising will be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
• Actively participate in research
• Teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Participate actively in the running of the School through academic citizenship activities.
