PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/SENIOR LECTURER IN INSURANCE AND RISK

SEBS invites applications for the position at the level of Professor or Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer, depending on qualifications and experience. Please indicate clearly at what level you are applying.
At the level of Professor and Associate Professor, the candidate must have a PhD in Insurance and Risk fields eg Economics of Risk, Insurance Management, Actuarial Sciences and Law with special focus on the regulation of the insurance industry. The successful applicant is expected to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of insurance and risk management. The successful applicant will also do research and publish in the field of insurance and risk management, supervise postgraduate students in insurance and risk management up to PhD level and participate actively in the running of the School through academic citizenship activities.
At the level of Senior Lecturer, the candidate must have a PhD in Insurance and Risk Management or a closely related field eg Economics of Insurance and Risk Management, Actuarial Sciences and Law with special focus on regulation of the insurance industry; alternatively a Master’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management and extensive industry experience in Insurance and Risk Management. The successful applicant is expected to teach in the field of insurance and risk management, research and publish in the field of insurance and risk management and supervise postgraduate students in insurance and risk management.
The successful applicant will also participate actively in the running of the School through academic citizenship activities.
