Contracts Manager
A well-established and highly successful Civil Engineering Contracting business based in Cape Town has a January 2016 requirement for an experienced and well-qualified construction professional to assume overall responsibility for all of the company’s ongoing projects in the pipeline, services and utilities industries.
Applicants must be qualified to tertiary level in Civil Engineering and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the successful management of a diverse range of projects overseeing their timeous delivery in terms of quality, budget and programme. A proactive, innovative leader is sought who must possess strategic and contractual awareness, have the ability to manage time and resources in relation to their implications on the job and at the end of the day have the competence to deliver results. Above-average contract negotiation skills, commercial flair and bottom line accountability, all of which should have been gained working for recognised contractors, are essential prerequisites for the role.
