As Food Security & Livelihood Cluster Co-Coordinator you will enable cluster partners to respond more effectively to the needs of the affected population than they could do individually by working together in a coordinated manner and in accordance with the Principles of Partnership. You will provide leadership and work on behalf of the cluster as a whole, facilitating all cluster activities and developing and maintaining a strategic vision and operational response plan. You will also ensures coordination with other clusters in relation to inter-cluster activities and cross-cutting issues.
Requirements include:
- The holder of this position must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Security, Social Sciences or a relevant field from a recognized University.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Emergency Response, in designing, planning, implementing, supervising and reporting on integrated development, relief and/or advocacy projects in similar contexts.
- Technical competence in the Cluster system and Food Security and Livelihood sector.
- Work environment: Office-Based position.
- Travel: 30% domestic/international travels is required.
