Our successful and well known global client is currently busy with yet another Greenfield Mining project in one of the French Speaking West African Countries. They are looking for 3 Civil Superintendents - 2 for their transport infrastructure projects and 1 for a Mining Infrastructure project.
Job Description
- Civil Superintendents with experience of rail maintenance, as well as mine infrastructure project.
- You will be hands on candidate and will be working on site in a Greenfield environment.
- You will oversee the daily construction activities at work site, including scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment and materials, and progress of the project.
- Work with contractors to complete project within the given budget and timeframe.
- Familiar with a variety of a civil project's field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Potential to lead and direct the work of others.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous Experience working as a Civil Superintendent preferably in a mining and/or infrastructure environment
- Relevant qualification (Preferment Civil/construction)
- MUST: French Speaking - Business
- A "can do" attitude and excellent work ethic are required for this role.
- Previous expatriate experience in West Africa will be advantageous
This opportunity would be based on 6:2 (weeks) rotation. Attractive package including a competitive day rate, flights, transfers, laundry, accommodation, food.
