Responsibilities:
The Base Logistician/Supply Assistant will be responsible for the supervision of all the work in the project related to Logistic and Supply departments. He/She will be responsible for the implementation of MSF Logistic policies and procedures in the project and provide technical support to the Medical activities in the project.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Supply management, stock keeping/warehouse: Order handling, placing orders, purchasing and collection of items to the store. Managing requests to finances for stock. Assisting with budgeting, stock keeping, managing transport and imports for stock.
Fleet management: Plan vehicle movements and tracking, handle administration, licensing and servicing of vehicles, supervision of drivers.
IT & Telecommunication: manages proper functioning of ITC
Security Management: Managing day to day securing on MSF premises and staff. Monitor security technical aspects.
Other logistical activities: Support all departments in their logistic needs (Supply, Transport, Energy and Infrastructure). Producing of reports.

Education, experience, knowledge and skills: Diploma or Secondary technical qualification. At least 2 year experience in a similar post. Supply and Purchase experience with good technical skills.
Knowledge:Computer Literacy. Good knowledge of MS Office specially Excel and Word.
Required Attributes: An understanding of and commitment to the aims and values of MSF.
Required Languages: Fluent written and spoken English and Local language essential.
