Women’s Rights Program Officer
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Salary Range: THB 39,253 – THB 42,926 per month

The position provides necessary support to programme development, implementation and monitoring to ensure efficient and effective delivery of programme objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Implement the strategy in field of Women’s Rights & Participation at country level
• Ensure the effective implementation of the programme related work in accordance with the Country Strategic Paper
• Provide planning guidelines to partners on programme activities
• Review partners’ plans to ensure they are in line with AAT’s strategic direction
• Coordinate with Programme and Policy Manager and different stakeholders to achieve the objectives of programme in charge
• Develop detailed programme activities and collaborate tasks to specific partners
• Conduct regular field level visits to programme areas and units to provide support, supervision and guidance on programme implementation
• Ensure all programme activities are sensitive to and responsive to changes in the political, social, and economic environments
• Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure local partners implement activities as planned and assure the quality of activities
• Synthesize and share lessons learnt across the programme functions
• Develop programme concepts and activities and make financial requests as per AAT finance procedures
• Control of expenditure and the disbursement of resources of programme in charge
• Implement programme in accordance with the approved plans and budget
• Ensure AAT has a well-balanced, well-documented and cost effective programme in Women’s Right and Participation
• Contribute to the development, review and consolidation of country programme plans and budgets; and annual national resource allocation

Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor Degree in social sciences, economics, women or development studies
• At least 5 years relevant experience in a multi-cultural working environment, preferably an NGO
• Experience in working on Women’s Rights & Participation area
• Understanding of the systems, policies and issues of Women’s Rights & Participation
• Understanding of the policies and issues related to Human Rights based approach, Women’s network development, Human Security and Poverty Reduction.
• Expertise on participatory methodologies and M&E
• Documenting, report writing and project training proposal skills are preferable
• Creative and dynamic personality and excellent teamwork capacity
• Networking skills and the capacity to train and mentor others
