Our client Wind business in South Africa has a Revenue of approx. 80m Euro/year, with a total project portfolio worth 700m Euro in Middle-East & Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all commercial activities for Energy Wind Onshore in South Africa, with a view to the overall region of Africa and the Middle East.
- Locally adopts respective guidelines and procedures in the Country organization of the BU assigned based on superior financial policies.
- Governs the financial and commercial management of the assigned organization unit.
- Manages the assigned Finance / Business Administration organization.
- Responsible for commercial part and overall collaborates in the preparation and negotiation of complex bids or tenders for project business with international internal and external partners
- Contributes to definition, and ensures implementation of superior financial strategy, policies and guidelines
- Ensures effective financial analysis, planning and controlling activities, planning, monitoring and reviews of unit's budget and all related business administration activities
- Oversees and ensures completion of all accounting and reporting, and other finance related operations, day-to-day controlling and financial analysis operations
- Guides complete and timely elaboration of all necessary financial/commercial documents for the sales and bidding process, e.g. contract analysis, evaluation of risks, project selection, bid/no-bid decision, LoA.
- Lead special projects and tasks within MEA region and overall business segment e.g. cross regional tools and processes, new market entries etc.
- May coordinate risk and internal control management (incl. ERM, internal regulations).
Requirements.
- Minimum degree qualification, preferably Finance, Accounting or Controlling
- 10 years total experience, with minimum five years managerial experience in the following areas.
-Involvement in tender processes for large industrial or power generation projects
-Projects Management (coordination with Sales, purchasing and other departments)
-Management of people, also remotely
-Experience in other countries is an advantage
-Specific Wind knowledge would be good but can be achieved on the job
