Oxfam is making urgent plans to scale up significantly in Sierra Leone and Liberia, aiming to reach up to 4 million people in the two countries. It is imperative that immediate action is taken in the next 60 days to bring the infection rate down because it is out of control. If we are going to meet this challenge, we need a team of skilled humanitarian specialists.

The key responsibilities of the role will be:
- Act as the HR focused response lead in country
- Ensure timely recruitments of national and international staff
- Ensure all staff work within a healthy environment
- Support the development and enforcement of clear SoPs
- Support senior management in dealing with staff discipline and HR issues in line with Oxfam policy
- Support senior managers in developing relevant team structures
- Provide effective risk identification and management across the HR aspects of the response
- Provide high quality staff management and leadership in the HR team
