Logistics Managers (INT0912)

Oxfam is making urgent plans to scale up significantly in Sierra Leone and Liberia, aiming to reach up to 4 million people in the two countries. It is imperative that immediate action is taken in the next 60 days to bring the infection rate down because it is out of control. If we are going to meet this challenge, we need a team of skilled humanitarian specialists.

As a result we are looking to recruit experienced Logistics Managers and as soon as possible. Please use the link to apply if you are interested in being part of our emergency response.

The key responsibilities of the roles will be:

  • Organise purchases and airfreight of goods 
  • Set up warehousing as required
  • Ensure effective stock management systems are in place 
  • Ensure traceable ordering and onwards distribution mechanisms are initiated.
  • Operate ensure timely and comprehensive use of Oxfam's Helios stock management systems 
  • Hire staff for effective warehouse management as required
