PURPOSE
The post of Supply/Logistics is of basic need for running daily supply and logistics activities in
El Fasher Zonal Office. The office distributes and monitors project supplies given to counterparts in North Darfur state.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Keeps records of supplies in the warehouse, showing supplies movement and balances using electronic and or other applicable system
Interacts with programme sections in preparation of appropriate documents; release order/supply list, purchase orders etc. according to procurement specifications and supply procedures.
Facilitates efficient storage and distribution of supplies and equipments to end users in two states from distribution centers.
Prepares and shares the monthly stock report with El Fasher Zonal Office staff and logistics section at the Country Office.
Responsible for making local market surveys on quarterly basis and shares information with office management.
Process procurement of goods and services required for office and for programme activity implementation.
Maintains the database for logistics and supplies and keeps the documents files.
Responsible for the pouch registry and distribution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Secondary School Educational
Six years of experience in supply and logistics or accounting, including record-keeping and processing of information
Good spoken and written Arabic and English.
