WaterAid is committed to accelerating transformational change towards our vision of a world where everyone has access to water, sanitation and hygiene. We believe extreme poverty cannot be eradicated without these basic rights. To help us achieve our aims we are currently seeking to appoint up to three new Trustees to join the WaterAid UK Board. The Board of Trustees provides strategic direction and leadership to the organisation, acts as the guardian of WaterAid’s vision and values and supports the Chief Executive and her executive team. This is an opportunity to make a vital contribution to our ambitious 2015-2020 Global Strategy and to achieving universal access to water, sanitation and hygiene by 2030.
We are looking for up to three new Trustees. For two of the roles we are particularly looking for people with significant and senior experience of the international development sector, and with a good understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced in the provision of water, sanitation and hygiene for all. We are also interested in individuals with a deep knowledge of the regions in which we work.
