The International Bureau of Education (IBE) is a leading UNESCO institute in the field of curriculum, valued for its specialist knowledge, expertise and networks, and for providing curriculum support services that include up-to-date, evidence-based information and practical support to Member States as they seek to enhance most effectively the quality of student learning.

Field of study
Applicants are encouraged to apply for internships which relate directly to their studies and/or skills and expertise. Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background, the intern's assigned office as well as the internship period.
Languages required
Applicants must be fluent in at least one of the working languages of the United Nations (English and French). Knowledge of other official languages of the United Nations (Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
The estimated starting date would be April/May 2015 for a maximum period of 6 months.
Please note that this internship is unpaid. The intern is responsible for all expenses related to the internship, including lodging, meals and transportation to and from Geneva. The intern must be self-insured through a medical provider.
