JOB TITLE:Public Health Expert – Project Manager
PROJECT TITLE: Better healthcare for rural population in the Kunene province
JOB LOCATION:Angola, Kunene Province

REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree in Medicine and Surgery or Nursing with further specialisation or Master in Public Health and Hygiene
- Good knowledge of written and spoken Portuguese
- Previous experience in Developing Countries
- Previous experience in managing health cooperation projects will be an asset
KEY DUTIES
The Project Manager will be responsible of the overall coordination and implementation of the activities.

The specific tasks as Public Health Expert are:
- promote regular meetings of planning and coordination with the Municipal Directorate of Health
- collaborate in the process of improving data collection and analysis
- supervise the peripheral health facilities and collaborate with MDH to improvement of quality of services provided at peripheral level
- strengthen and create village committees for awareness and involvement of the community on health issues
- identify and train village health workers
- create a referral system to improve access to health services to all levels
- establish a system of follow up of patients and chronically malnourished (TB and HIV)
- provide for M&E of project activities and reporting required by donors
HOW TO APPLY:
Selection interviews will take place at Cuamm HQ in Italy (Padua) or at Country offices in Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. Travel expenses are paid by the candidate.
