We are looking for economists at Managing Consultant / Senior Consultant level to join our Asian economics team, based in Hong Kong. In particular, we are looking for economists with strong regulation and / or competition experience to deliver projects and help grow our work in this important policy area across Asia.
You will be a core part of our collegiate team of like-minded economists and policy specialists who have a passion for applying their skills and the knowledge to help solve complex problems for our clients. Main Tasks:
- Identify and contribute to business development opportunities in Hong Kong, Singapore and across Asia, particularly in the growing field of competition and regulation
- Network and engage with key stakeholders and prospective clients to market ICF services
- Help to win, manage and deliver economics-related projects. This will include contributing to and managing proposals and being responsible for project delivery
- Manage project teams, taking responsibility for meeting client needs within quality, time and budget constraints.
- Grow, manage and develop more junior colleagues
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Master’s Degree in economics or a related field
- At least 6-8 years relevant professional experience
- Experience of contributing to and driving economic analysis projects
- Strong grasp of economic principles and experience applying them to economic assessments, ideally in the field of regulation and competition
- Project management experience, including managing project teams and delivering high-quality projects on time and to budget
- Consulting experience would be preferred
- Business development and marketing experience would be beneficial

- Strong analytical skills in relevant areas
- Ability to work within multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams spread across several countries and time zones
- Sound business ethics
- Willing to travel within Asia and internationally.
