The Park
Opened in January 1977, Ocean Park (the "Park") is Hong Kong's premier educational theme park. The current park covers more than 915,000 square metres of land and features a diverse selection of world-class animal attractions, thrill rides and shows divided between the Waterfront and the Summit. Operated by the Ocean Park Corporation, a statutory board, it runs on prudent financial principles. It aims to provide elements of entertainment, education and conservation at an affordable price.

Chief Executive
The Position
The Chief Executive assumes overall leadership of the Park, with full P&L accountability for the day-to-day operations, supported by an experienced management team. As the Park is government-owned, there will be interaction with government bodies and the Legislative Council in Hong Kong.

The Person
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- A minimum of twenty years of direct experience of senior executive leadership within a world-class theme park and resort or in the hospitality / tourism industry
- Experience with, or knowledge of, animal-based with rides / attractions theme park an advantage
- Ability to direct, control and manage the operations in terms of positioning, profitability of a theme park or similar hospitality business
- Solid experience in managing a complex and diverse organisation, for the achievement of financial, operational, developmental and community / CSR objectives
- Demonstrated leadership skills, cultural sensitivity and business acumen
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
