Oxfam in Sierra Leone is recruiting for a Programme Quality Coordinator to work with the country programme team in the design, implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning strategy and in monitoring the extent to which the country strategy, the programmes, and the projects are meeting their objectives.
The role:
We're looking for someone with a strong commitment to programme quality and strength in training and internal communications to facilitate the integration of CAMSA (Common Approached to Monitoring Evaluation Learning & Social Accountability) in Sierra Leone programmes and projects, and accompany the programme teams on his effective usage, with all shifts needed in ways of working. You will be responsible to develop and implement a capacity building plan for both Oxfam and partner organisation staff on programme quality.
What we are looking for
This role will appeal to those with existing MEAL or programme knowledge; with a degree or Masters in developmental studies or relevant field. It is essential that you have in-depth experience in Programme Quality Management, coupled with excellent understanding of a broad range of programme quality issues, especially around Programme Development and Design, Theories of Change, MEAL, Project Cycle Management and Partnership Management. Proven success in identifying and co-creating strategic initiatives to collectively improve programmes in Sierra Leone is required for this role. Strong influencing skills especially in dealing with country management team is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to motivate influence and negotiate both internally and externally will be essential.
