Tetra Tech ARD (www.tetratechintdev.com) is seeking highly qualified Technical Specialists, ranging from mid-level to Sr.-level Chiefs of Party, for anticipated short and long-term services on various democracy and governance programs around the world.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the specialized areas below is highly desirable:
*Conflict Prevention/Citizen Security
*Urban Governance
* Transparency and Accountability
*Analytical evaluations
*Inclusion of women and vulnerable populations
Responsibilities
*Provide analysis and guidance on critical needs of any of the above specialized areas to host country personnel in governance projects (including designing institutional strengthening activities), and advise USAID Missions as necessary;
*Train, mentor, and advice public sector staff, other government officials, local civil society organizations and project stakeholders on relevant issues in the specialized areas above;
*Manage or work collaboratively with expatriate and local project staff, including supporting quality control;
*Ensure effective financial management and progress and reporting of program results in compliance with USAID-required indicators and efficient utilization of program staff and resources;
*Conduct monitoring, assessments and evaluations of USAID-funded Democracy and Governance projects and programs; and
*Travel and/or residency to/in participating host countries may be required.
Qualifications
*Masters plus 5-7 years of relevant professional work experience.
*Bachelors plus 7-10 years additional relevant professional work experience
*Fluency in English required; fluency in other languages (Spanish, French) preferred.
*Program management or technical assistance experience working with USAID/other large donor missions as well as host country private and public sector organizations desired;
*Demonstrated outstanding training, management, capacity building, and networking skills;
