Organizational Setting and Reporting
This internship is located in the French Translation and Text Processing Section (FTTS) of the Conference Management Service (CMS), Division for Management (DM), United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV). The position is for three months between 1st June and 31 August 2015.
The internship is UNPAID and full-time.
The intern will work five days per week (40 hours) under the supervision of the Chief of Section and the internship supervisor, as assigned.

Responsibilities
Interns will be responsible for the following duties: Translate, mostly subject to revision, documents on drugs, crime and other topics dealt with at UNOV/UNODC;
Contribute to the terminological work of the Section and to the testing of Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools being developed in house (ex e-luna)
Perform other tasks, as requested by the Chief of the Section

Education
Applicants must be studying for a Master's degree in Translation in a French language university or translation school.
