SENIOR PROGRAMMES MANAGER

Salary: £37,722 GBP gross per annum (£39,653 as from April 2016)

At Restless Development, we’re proud to be the banner carrier for youth-led development, demonstrating from the grassroots to the global policy levels that young people can and must play a lead role in development. As a result, Restless Development is repeatedly cited as a model of best practice in youth-led development by the World Bank, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), UNICEF, UNAIDS and others.
The Programme Support Team works to support delivery units in the implementation and quality of the DFID-funded ICS programme and wider volunteer-led programmes. Working closely with Country Programme and UK teams, we lead the global vision of ICS and drive high quality delivery of the programme through strong support and coordination.
As part of a VSO led consortium we will provide structured opportunities for thousands of young people from the UK and global South to work together to address some of the world’s most pressing issues on the ground while developing a generation of active, global citizens.
The Senior Programmes Manager plays an integral role in the Programme Support Team and will work closely with the Head of Programmes, Director of Programmes and our Global Teams to lead this area of our work.
