About the role

Our Business Recovery Services (BRS) practice is the largest restructuring practice in the UK operating from 23 offices. We offer restructuring situational skills with functional expertise (business planning, cost reduction, cash and change management) and industry experience to our clients. Helping them develop sustainable solutions.
In joining OR you would get to work across three sectors; Government and Public Sector, Corporate, Working Capital.

Essential skills and experience
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and/or reports for key stakeholders
  • Financial baseline and forecast review
  • Development and delivery of operational improvement projects
  • Cost control programme development and implementation
  • Strategic planning with business case and scenario modelling
  • Help client management develop and implement a turnaround plan to maintain stakeholder support
  • Take on a “hands-on” role to manage stakeholders and lead change
  • Perform Cashflow sensitivity analysis
  • Provide robust management and monitoring of change programmes
  • Take responsibility for leading junior members of the team when required
The role will be based in London, but requires flexibility to travel throughout the UK, with the potential to travel overseas, depending on client requirements

Who we’re looking for
  • Working capital, NHS, supply chain, manufacturing or procurement experience
  • Financial services experience
  • Experience of operational improvement programmes
  • Demonstrable financial analysis experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with all levels
  • Proven project and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Report writing skills including use of Microsoft PowerPoint (Including “Smart” - preferred but not essential)
