Chemonics seeks an operations and finance director for the anticipated multiyear, USAID Integrated Malaria Program (IMaP) in Mozambique. IMaP will assist the government of Mozambique in reducing malaria mortality, morbidity, and parasitemia. The program will focus on increasing utilization and uptake of quality malaria prevention and control interventions, improving the quality of implementation and use of facility and community-based malaria services, and strengthening data flow within the health-care system. Responsibilities include:
- Provide overall operational and financial management of the program
- Provide management support and oversight in support of the implementation of technical activities
- On a regular basis, prepare financial statement, maintain cash controls, prepare payroll and personnel administration, and maintain accounts payable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration; master’s degree preferred
- Minimum eight years of experience in administrative and financial management of large-scale, complex, international development assistance programs
- Supervisory experience
- Experience developing and managing large budgets
- Extensive experience in development and managing a donor-funded grants program
- Demonstrated versatility, leadership, and integrity
- Excellent English and Portuguese communication skills
